[Well he went home, saved the world again from the moon and everything was fine now. This time around Naruto wasn't worried about what would happen if he never got back to break the jutsu that had put everyone to sleep, he wasn't worried about the impending fight with Sasuke or how much longer he'd be at trying to convince the other to come back to Konoha. The same was not true for the guy he was currently fighting. Sure he might be facing the same situation with suddenly having a kid but other things had been settled for Naruto.
It makes it easier to accept the future to have the past sorted out.
Plus, you know, having a kid... having a family is actually pretty great in his opinion. Weird but kind of exciting at the same time. He does feel bad for Boruto because neither of them really know him. But they can get to know each other.]
