[Still doing his best to avoid looking at Hinata. If he was he might get a clue and not be so awkward about all of this because it sort of feels like cheating. Naruto has a kid with someone and it's not something he's done yet but it's something he will do except at the moment he's dating Hinata.

[Though he did kind of drop a big bomb on her there. Not that she minded. He was everything she could have imagined and more in a child of hers.... and Naruto's.]
Is something wrong? [She didn't mean to notice he was avoiding her gaze but it was so unlike him. He was always a very direct person, those blue eyes of his very expressive. Gently, she squeezes his fingers, trying to be reassuring. It had to be a lot to wrap his head around, as it was for her.]
[It was a big bomb for him too. And he's still unsure about how this thing is going to affect his relationship with Hinata. Though Naruto also feels bad for Boruto too. Boruto's father doesn't even know who he is.]
You're okay with me having a kid? [It's pretty early in their relationship but as of yet, she doesn't quite seem to mind the whole situation as of yet. He knows he doesn't have a kid just yet (except for the fact that he does have one in the here and now) but he will someday.]

[She's trying SO HARD to just say it but the idea that they have children in the future both makes her happy and embarrassed. Her face might be a bit red. Give her a sec.]
He told me that I-I'm... his mother.
[Her free hand moves to her cheek, feeling whether or not she is as warm as she feels. No, she's pretty normal. Clearly it's just her.]
[Naruto still can't look at her completely as she sort of stumbles over her words. Not until she finally says "mother" and then he does finally turn his head. Her face is red and he's pretty sure that his own cheeks are starting to change color.]
O-oh. I didn't... know that.
[About her being Boruto's mother. Obviously. Hey mouth, meet foot.]
So... we have a kid. In the future. And technically right now 'cuz he's here and all.
[A very nice surprise. Naruto hasn't really had all that much time to think of the future he has with Hinata, just enough time to realize that he does like her - more than just a friend. More than he ever liked Sakura growing up.]
